The Best Grilled Chicken

This is by far the best grilled chicken and it is so easy to make. Some chiken and 5 ingredients will turn your chicken into the best grilled honey mustard chicken you ever put your lips around!

Here's what your gonna need to make this honey mustard chicken recipe:

1 whole chicken (you can either cut it in half or you can cut it into pieces)
1/4 cup of butter (1/2 stick), melted
1/4 cup of honey
2 tablespoons of Gulden's Spicy Brown Mustard
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of curry powder

Now, here's what you need to do:

First off, if you don't have one of these digital thermometers, you might want to get one

You don't have to have one of these but it sure makes life a lot easier. It takes all of the guess work out of anything your baking or grilling. When the alarm goes off, it's cooked perfectly everytime!

Anyway, back to the recipe. Prepare the grill by putting a piece of tin foil on one side of the grill. Light your fire on the other side of the grill (In case you didn't know, this is called indirect cooking).

Cut the chicken either down the breastbone and split it open or cut it into pieces. Mix together the butter, honey, mustard, salt and curry powder. Brush the underside of the chicken with the honey mustard mixture.

Spray the tin foil with non-stick cooking spray. Place the chicken skin side up with the legs toward the center of the grill on the tin foil. If you are going to use a probe thermometer, insert the probe into the thickest part of the chicken breast being careful not to touch the bone. If not, you'll need to check the chicken by one of the methods on the Chicken Cooking Temperatures on the Cooking Chicken Page

Brush the remaining honey mustard mixture on the top of the chicken. Close the lid on the grill and cook on medium (if using a gas grill) for about an hour and a half depending upon the size of your chicken, whether or not you cut it up and the heat of your grill.

If you use a probe thermometer, set the alarm to 160 degrees F.

Be prepared to enjoy the best grilled chicken you've ever had!

**This chicken can also be baked. Bake at 350 degrees F. for about 1 1/2 hours or until done.**
