Meatball Appetizer Recipe

If you're looking for a great meatball appetizer recipe, look no further. This appetizer will be gone in no time.

I think you will find this meatball appetizer to be a little different than your usual meatballs in BBQ sauce. The ginger ale just adds a little something to make it different.

Here's what you'll need:

For the Meatballs:

2 lb hamburger
1/2 cup crackers, crushed
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
2 eggs
2 tbsp worchestershire sauce
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/3 cup ketchup
2 tbsp onion

For The Sauce

2 cups ginger ale
1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

Here's what you need to do:

Mix all of the meatball ingredients together and form into 1" balls. (These can be frozen until ready to use.)

Combine ginger ale, barbecue sauce, salt and pepper in a large skillet. Bring to a boil. Add meatballs and simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until meatballs are done (40 to 45 minutes).
