In the cake mix cookie recipe pictured above I used a lemon cake mix, added 1 cup of coconut and 1 cup of chopped dried cherries. YUM!

Base for all Cake Mix Cookies:

1 box of cake mix, your favorite flavor
2 eggs
1/2 cup of vegetable oil

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix together the cake mix, eggs and oil. Add any combination of your favorite ingredients along with your favorite flavor of cake mix.

Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray. Drop cookie dough by tablespoonful onto cookie sheet and bake for 13 to 15 minutes. Cool and enjoy!

This is one easy cookie recipe that you can have a lot of fun with!

Here are a few ideas:

Chocolate cake mix, add marischino cherries
Chocolate cake mix, add peanut butter chips
Chocolate cake mix, add rice crispies
Carrot cake mix, add raisins
Yellow cake mix, add dried cranberries, slivered almonds and 1 teaspoon of almond extract
Cherry Supreme cake mix and white chocolate chips

I made these using a devil's food cake mix and added 1 1/2 cups of oatmeal and rolled them in powdered sugar!

The possibilities are endless but if you want some more ideas, here's a great cookbook:
