Boiled icing that forms a crunchy like crust and soft inside
by: Anonymous

I would most sincerely appreciate for help on my issue. I need to know what steps should I take in order to get that wonderful crust on the outside of my boiled icing. I have heard many people also state that they make the 8 minute boiled icing and that it never hardens up like they want also. Therefore, do you think that the cake that has been frosted needs to be left out for more than a day? If so, does it need to be left on a counter or in the refrigerator? Any help is very appreciated.
