One of my favorite breakfasts has been biscuits and gravy, so this Sunday morning I am laying in bed thinking of this recipe - so at 8 in the morning I get up change into some jeans and head to Safeway in my slippers. I buy Crisco and self-rising flour, ( had the rest of the stuff already). I race back home and make the most beautiful biscuits that I had ever seen and this delicious gravy. Thanks so much for the recipe.
