Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. I live in Portland, OR and love biscuits and gravy--we have a lot of breakfast places around here and many 'specialize' in this comfort dish. I decided to try and make this for brunch today and did some Google searching and was very unimpressed with the recipes I came across...the biscuit recipes I found were overcomplicated and fussy, and the sausage gravy recipes had things in them like chicken broth, tabasco sauce, and other weird extras. When I found this recipe, I was thrilled--the biscuit recipe was so easy and quick to pull together, and the biscuits came out beautifully! The gravy was absolutely delicious, thick and creamy like your picture--I have to say, this recipe is the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had, and I think it's better than what we can get at most breakfast places and diners up here. Thank you! I'll be sure to make again and share.
