Peach Cobbler Recipe

With your Peach cobbler recipe I unfortunately cannot get Georgia peaches so I will have to use the can kind. With that being said do I use everything in the can or do I drain them first and then use the sugar and water? I'm in Michigan so I don't have access to the great Georgia peaches do you have any other recommendations of can peaches so it doesn't lake in taste? Thanks for your help.

Hey there LaQuanta!

For the peach cobbler, you can use either fresh peaches with the sugar and the water OR canned peaches in heavy syrup. The heavy syrup substitutes nicely for the water and sugar. So, to answer your question...YES, use everything in the can.

My favorite canned peaches are the Del Monte. I like the ones in a jar...I think they must use the best peaches when they put them in a jar since you can see them LOL.

I hope you enjoy the cobbler!
