Turkey Chili



If you're looking for a simple, low calorie, low fat, healthy turkey chili, this one is a winner at only 200 calories per serving.

If you like your chili a little spicier, add some diced green chilies, diced jalapenos or a few splashes of some hot sauce!

Here's what you're going to need:


1 1/2 teaspoons of Olive Oil
1 pound of ground turkey
1/2 cup of chopped onion
1/2 cup of chopped green pepper
2 cups of water
2 (15-ounce) cans of crushed tomatoes
1 (16-ounce) can of kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 tablespoon of garlic, minced
2 tablespoons of Chili Powder
1/2 teaspoon of Paprika
1/2 teaspoon of dried Oregano
1/2 teaspoon of Ground Cumin
1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper

Here's what you'll need to do:




In a large pot, brown the ground turkey in the Olive Oil.



Add the onion and green pepper.



Add the water, crushed tomatoes, kidney beans and garlic. Mix well.



Add the chili powder, paprika, oregano, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt and black pepper.



Mix well.



Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer 45 minutes.



I'm sure you'll enjoy this simple, but wonderful low calorie chili!
