Creamed Spinach Recipe

Looking for recipes for spinach? Mama's creamed spinach recipe is easy to make and even the pickiest of eaters will love it!

This recipe is great for holidays, special occasions and will make even every day meals seem special.

Here's what you are going to need:

2 cloves of garlic, finely diced
2 tablespoons of butter
2 (10-ounce) packages of frozen chopped spinach
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste

Here's what you need to do:

Thaw out the spinach (putting it in the microwave on 2 minutes works great) and drain by squeezing it in your hands to get as much as the water out as possible.

In a large saucepan, saute garlic in butter being careful not to burn the garlic (garlic gets sweeter as it cooks but garlic turns bitter when it burns).

Add the spinach to the pan along with the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Cook, stirring constantly until hot and bubbly.
