Oven Barbecued Chicken

This is one lip smackin' finger lickin' oven barbecued chicken that will have everyone coming back for more!

This recipe for BBQ chicken wings is great for parties, they are always a big hit! It only takes a few minutes to put the sauce together and you can always put it together ahead of time, refrigerate it, and then pop it in the oven about 45 minutes before you want some of the best BBQ wings you've ever tasted.

Oven BBQ chicken

Here's what you'll need:

4 pounds of chicken (any combination of pieces you want)
3 tablespoon of butter
1 tablespoon of onion powder
5 tablespoons of brown sugar
2 tablespoons of Worcestershire Sauce
1 tablespoon of Guldens Spicy Brown Mustard
1 tablespoon of Balsamic Vinegar
1 cup of ketchup
1/2 cup of water

Here's what you'll need to do:

Preheat oven to 425 Degrees F.
Line a 9 x 13 baking dish with tin foil and spray the tin foil with non-stick cooking spray. Arrange the chicken pieces in a single layer in the baking dish.

In a saucepan, melt the butter. Add the onion powder, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, brown mustard and balsamic vinegar. Stir well. In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup and water and add to the saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring often until the mixture begins to thicken, about 10 minutes.

Pour over chicken. Cover with tin foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove tin foil and bake another 25 minutes.
