Recipe for Cream Cheese Frosting

Whether it's a carrot cake, banana cake, chocolate cake or plain yellow cake, this recipe for cream cheese frosting will go great with just about any cake.

I love a good cream cheese frosting and this recipe is wonderful. You can even get really creative and use it on pumpkin bread or sandwiched between two cookies!

cream cheese icing

Here's what you're going to need:

1 (8-ounce) package of cream cheese
1/4 cup of butter, softened
2 cups of confectioners sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla

Here's wha you need to do:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and butter.

Whip together.

Add the vanilla and the powdered sugar.

Scrape down the sides of the bowl.

Whip until light and fluffy. Make sure your cake is completely cooled before frosting.

I'm sure you're gonna love this light and fluffy cream cheese icing.
